The CNRPS (Caisse nationale de retraites et de prévoyance sociale) has announced, in a statement released on Tuesday, that the date for pension payments has been exceptionally advanced to Friday, May 22, 2026.
Exceptional Measure for the Month of May
The Caisse has clarified that this exceptional measure, concerning the May pension payments, is being taken in observance of the Aïd al-Adha celebrations.
Note: Aïd al-Adha is a significant Islamic holiday that commemorates the willingness of the Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son Ismail (Ishmael) as an act of obedience to God. It is a time for family gatherings, charity, and the sacrifice of animals to commemorate the occasion.
