European Union Donates 47 Fully Equipped Ambulances to Tunisia
The European Union handed over 47 fully equipped ambulances to Tunisia on Monday as part of the "Essaha Aziza" program, aimed at improving the quality of healthcare services and strengthening access to primary care within various healthcare facilities.
According to a statement from the European Union in Tunisia, the healthcare sector support program "Essaha Aziza" financed the acquisition of approximately 2,400 medical equipment in its second phase, with a budget of 136 million dinars.
These donations are intended to support healthcare services in various fields, including:
- Intensive care
- Emergency services
- Diagnostic services
- Functional rehabilitation
- Dental and ophthalmological medicine
- Cancer treatment
- Other specialties
The donations also include a fleet of 263 vehicles, including 50 ambulances, as well as computers, according to the same source.
