International Tourist Delegation Visits Enfidha Agricultural Complex

The Ministry of Tourism, in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Fisheries, organized a field visit for an international tourist delegation to the Enfidha agricultural complex, under the jurisdiction of the Bureau of State Agricultural Lands in the Sousse governorate, on Saturday, November 22, 2025.

Objective of the Initiative

This initiative aims to showcase the production process of Tunisian olive oil according to the best global standards, while offering visitors a direct point of sale to purchase packaged olive oil and various local products.

Promotion of Local Products and Artisanal Crafts

Spaces were also set up to highlight traditional craftsmanship and local products, such as olive wood and typical Tunisian dishes, with the goal of supporting local artisans and reinforcing the heritage and cultural value of national products.

Visitor Response

The visit sparked significant interest among tourists, many of whom purchased olive oil and artisanal products as souvenirs, testifying to the attractiveness and quality of Tunisian products.

Strategic Promotion of Tunisian Olive Oil

The two ministries emphasized that promoting Tunisian olive oil is a major strategic axis, given its economic and nutritional value, as well as its role in developing agricultural tourism and driving regional and national development.
