Public-Private Partnership Aims to Boost Industrial Development and Innovation

The public sector, in partnership with the private sector, particularly the Mecatronic Tunisie cluster, aims to create cooperation projects for collaborative industrial development and consolidate the culture of innovation by supporting the rapprochement between industrialists and scientific research centers.

Meeting with Key Stakeholders

The Secretary of State for Energy Transition, Wael Chouchane, chaired a working session with representatives of the Mecatronic Tunisie cluster, in the presence of the Director General of the "Novation City" development pole of the City of Sousse, Hichem Turki, the Director General of the National Energy Management Agency (ANME), Nafaa Bakari, and the Director General of Laboratory Industries, Fathi Sahlaoui. During this meeting, which took place at the ministry's headquarters, several projects related to electric mobility and micro-mobility were presented.

Development of the Electric Mobility Sector

The working session focused on the ministry's orientations for developing this sector, which include completing the legislative framework for electric mobility and encouraging the manufacture of electric vehicle components. These components represent a driving force for industrial investments to increase the competitiveness of the industrial sector.

About the Mecatronic Tunisie Cluster

The Mecatronic Tunisie cluster comprises 75 industrial companies active in the fields of mechanical, electrical, electronic, metal, plastic, and information technology industries. Through numerous initiatives, the cluster seeks to expand the areas of cooperation between the various actors in the field of innovation and industrial technological development to create cooperation projects for collaborative industrial development and consolidate the culture of innovation by supporting the rapprochement between industrialists and scientific research centers.
