Dubai Airport Temporarily Suspends All Operations After Airspace Interception
Dubai, United Arab Emirates – The world’s busiest international airport, Dubai International Airport (DXB), announced on Saturday that it is temporarily suspending all operations following an interception in its airspace. The move comes as the United Arab Emirates declared it is under attack originating from Iran.
The Dubai government’s press office posted on X (formerly Twitter):
“To ensure the safety of passengers, staff, and crew, operations at Dubai International Airport have been temporarily suspended.”
The suspension affects both inbound and outbound flights, ground services, and all airport facilities until further notice. Authorities are working with national security and aviation agencies to assess the situation and restore normal service as quickly and safely as possible.
