Tunisian Wholesale Market Announces Exceptional Operating Hours for Eid al-Adha
The Tunisian Wholesale Market Society has announced an exceptional adjustment to the operating hours of the Bir El Kassaa wholesale market, located in the Ben Arous governorate, to coincide with the Eid al-Adha celebrations.
According to a press release, the market will continue its normal activities of procurement and sales on Sunday, May 24, Monday, May 25, and Tuesday, May 26, 2026, following the usual operating hours in effect, and on an exceptional basis to ensure the continuity of procurement.
The release also states that activities will be suspended from 12:00 PM on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
Normal operations are expected to resume on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 19:30, in accordance with the market's usual operating hours.
This measure is part of the preparations for Eid al-Adha and aims to ensure a regular supply of the market during this period marked by high demand.
