Education Minister Discusses School Security Measures
The Minister of Education, Noureddine Nouri, stated on Thursday, during the plenary session dedicated to discussing the 2026 budget of his ministry, that there is daily coordination with the Ministry of the Interior to secure the environment of educational institutions.
Additionally, the minister highlighted, in response to interventions from deputies, that surveillance cameras have been installed in 590 public schools. Work is also ongoing to develop protection and prevention measures, and to generalize the camera system to all school institutions.
