Tunisian Consulate in Dubai and Northern Emirates Temporarily Suspends Passport Production

Temporary Suspension Due to Depletion of Passport Stock

The Tunisian Consulate in Dubai and Northern Emirates has announced a temporary suspension of passport production, effective immediately. According to a statement released on Wednesday, May 20, this interruption is a result of the complete depletion of the mission's stock of blank passports.

Efforts to Resume Passport Issuance

The Consulate has assured that it is working diligently to resume the passport issuance process as soon as possible, in close coordination with relevant Tunisian authorities.

Exceptional Measures to Support Tunisian Community

To avoid disrupting the interests and procedures of the Tunisian community residing in the region, exceptional measures have been put in place. A coordination has been established with the Tunisian Embassy in Abu Dhabi to ensure the production of passports in cases of absolute urgency. Individuals affected by such situations are required to submit their applications to the Consulate, which will then forward them to the Embassy for official processing.
