Previous Successes

Last month, security forces had already dismantled a major international criminal organization involved in drug trafficking, following a meticulous intelligence operation. This large-scale operation resulted in:

  • The seizure of 2,942 plates of cannabis
  • The confiscation of significant logistical means, including three cars, a truck, three motorcycles, two inflatable boats, and four fishing boats
  • The seizure of 70,000 dinars
  • The confiscation of precious metal jewelry, a Thuraya satellite communication device, an advanced jamming device, and a firearm
  • The arrest of 10 members of the international criminal organization

The Sousse 1 prosecutor's office ordered the National Guard's central brigade for combating drugs to continue the investigations and keep the suspects in detention.
