Work on Doubling Regional Road 117 Reaches 74% Completion

The work on doubling the regional road 117, which connects Zarzis to the island of Djerba (governorate of Médenine), has reached a completion rate of 74% over a distance of 6.3 kilometers.

Project Details

This project, with a cost of 48 million dinars, includes the construction of a two-way road composed of two 7-meter wide lanes each, as well as the doubling of the existing bridge.

Benefits of the New Infrastructure

The new road infrastructure will improve traffic flow at the entrance and exit of the island of Djerba and enhance road safety for motorists.
