National Register of Enterprises to Switch to Mandatory Electronic Filing from July 1st
The Director General of the National Register of Enterprises (RNE), Adel Chouari, announced on Thursday, May 21st, 2026, the official transition to the phase of global and mandatory electronic filing of documents. This measure will come into effect from July 1st, 2026.
This move is part of the reinforcement of its digital transformation plan and the simplification of administrative procedures. During an interview with Jawhara FM, Mr. Adel Chouari explained that this transition follows a 7-9 month intermediate phase, initiated in September last year. "During this transitional period, a semi-electronic filing system combining the digital platform and paper support was adopted to prepare users and train them on new technological mechanisms," he stated.
The official also emphasized that from July 1st, users of the National Register will no longer be able to file their new documents in the traditional way at the counters. "From July 1st, electronic filing via the online platform will become the sole channel for receiving documents. However, physical counters will remain open, but exclusively for processing, regularizing old documents, and submitting missing documents filed before this deadline," he noted.
The Director General of the RNE concluded by stating that this initiative aims primarily to alleviate the burdens weighing on both citizens and business leaders. "Digitalizing services will enable the reduction of the inconvenience of travel, as well as the waste of time and energy in waiting lines," he added, explaining that this approach marks a genuine transition towards a fully digitalized and modernized administration.
