Tunisian Educational Coalition President Discusses Digital Education

The President of the Tunisian Educational Coalition and President of the Digital Education Dialogue Forum in Tunisia, Kamel Missaoui, stated on Tuesday, November 2, 2025, that during the forum held on November 28, 29, and 30, a diagnosis of the reality of the Tunisian educational system was established regarding the digitization of education and the use of digital media.

He added, during his telephone intervention on the National Radio waves, that the discussions concluded that the efforts made in this field have not reached an advanced level, as some educational institutions are still not connected to the Internet network, and others suffer from a low connection speed.

He continued by mentioning that the main recommendations of the forum include:

  • Preparing and training educational staff to use modern technologies.
  • Establishing a clear legal and legislative framework for digital education in Tunisia.
  • Efforts to be made to provide infrastructure capable of developing digital education in Tunisia, particularly in terms of Internet connectivity.
  • Reducing the digital divide across the territory of the Republic.

In the same context, he announced the organization of workshops, including one on educational experiences in the field of digital technology, during which several models were presented by teachers.
