Dense Fog Expected Across the Country
A dense fog is expected to roll in on Thursday night into Friday across most regions of the country, with visibility potentially dropping below 100 meters, the National Institute of Meteorology (INM) announced on Thursday evening.
According to the INM, this phenomenon will particularly affect coastal areas, low-lying regions, and the surroundings of dams, rivers, and forests, where the fog could be locally very thick. Authorities are urging road users to exercise caution due to a significant decrease in horizontal visibility that may disrupt traffic.
The Institute specifies that the fog is expected to dissipate gradually starting from 10:00 AM on Friday morning, while meteorological conditions should return to normal by the end of the morning.
