During a working visit to Kuwait from September 16 to 18, Tunisian Minister of National Defense Khaled Souhaili met with Kuwait's Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah. The meeting discussed the depth of fraternal relations between the two countries, based on bilateral coordination on various issues, consensus on most regional and international matters, and defense of just causes, particularly the Palestinian issue. The Minister of Defense reaffirmed Tunisia's firm position and total solidarity with the Palestinian people in the face of attempts to liquidate their cause and break their will to defend their legitimate rights and push them to abandon their land, which constitutes a blatant violation of international law and the principles of international legitimacy. He also praised the level of bilateral cooperation, expressing Tunisia's desire to enrich and develop it to include new promising areas such as food security, renewable energy, technological research and innovation, and the health sector. At the end of the meeting, the Minister of Defense conveyed to the Kuwaiti Crown Prince the greetings of the President of the Republic, Kais Saied, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, as well as a verbal invitation to visit Tunisia.
