The former Espérance Sportive de Tunis player, Abdeljabar Machouch, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025, the club announced in a statement.
Early Career and Achievements
Trained in the youth teams of Espérance, Abdeljabar Machouch joined the first team at the age of 16 and a half, in the early 1960s. He then defended the club's colors for ten seasons (1962-1972), playing in over 200 matches under the "Sang et Or" jersey.
