Tunisia's Dam Fill Rate Reaches 27.4%

The fill rate of dams in Tunisia has reached approximately 27.4% as of Friday, October 10, 2025, equivalent to 649.328 million cubic meters of water. The Tunisian Water Observatory considered this percentage to represent a significant decrease compared to previous months, due to the increased pace of withdrawals, which reached around 1.450 million cubic meters, in addition to the evaporation of approximately 0.311 million cubic meters of water on October 9. This reflects the continued pressure on water resources, according to the same source.
