Agricultural Expert Anis Ben Rayana Reveals Current Dam Storage Levels
Agricultural expert Anis Ben Rayana revealed on Saturday, September 6, 2025, that the current storage level of dams has reached 701 million cubic meters, with a filling rate estimated at 29.6%. He considered this situation to be an improvement compared to last year.
As a guest on the "Expresso Week-end" show, Ben Rayana specified that the filling rate of northern dams has reached 34.8%. He added that the inflow of dams during the 2024-2025 season amounts to 982 million cubic meters, equivalent to 54.1% of the estimated normal average of 1.813 billion cubic meters.
The expert also emphasized that over the past ten years, six seasons have recorded inflows below 50% of usual averages, reflecting the persistence of water-related challenges despite the relative improvement observed this year.
