Tunisian Navigation Company (CTN) Announces Cancellation of Tunis-Marseille Crossing

The Tunisian Navigation Company (CTN) has announced the cancellation of the Tunis-Marseille crossing that was scheduled for this Saturday, September 13, 2025, on board the Carthage ship. This crossing will be replaced by an additional trip on board the Tanit ship, scheduled for Wednesday, September 17, to Marseille, according to the following schedule:

  • Departure from the port of La Goulette on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 12:00.
  • Arrival at the port of Marseille on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 9:00.

In a statement, the company specified that this decision was made due to the continuation of the periodic inspection of the Carthage ship, carried out under the Paris Agreement on ship inspection, which disrupted the scheduling of crossings.

The CTN indicated that urgent and particular situations will be handled on a case-by-case basis, offering the possibility of booking on other crossings depending on availability. The company also assured that the change of reservation will be made without additional fees.

The maritime transporter apologized to passengers for this change in program and reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring their safety and comfort on board its ships.
