Sousse Port Welcomes Cruise Ship "Artania" with 1,578 Tourists Onboard
The port of Sousse received the cruise ship "Artania" on Sunday, November 9, 2025, with 1,578 tourists on board. This stopover marks a new stage in the recovery of cruise tourism in Tunisia.
According to the Merchant Marine and Ports Office (OMMP), the port of Sousse is also preparing to receive the ship "Hebridean Sky", which is expected to make two stopovers on November 11, 12, 15, and 16, 2025.
These arrivals are part of the revival of maritime tourism on the east coast of the country, where Tunisian ports, particularly the port of Sousse, are gradually regaining their pre-crisis activity.
The passage of these cruise ships contributes to boosting the local economy and strengthening the tourist attractiveness of the Sahel region, renowned for its heritage, beaches, and hospitality.
