The Press — The Council of the Order of Engineers Participates in International Conference on Natural Resource Management and Sustainable Agriculture
The Council of the Order of Engineers took part in the 10th International Conference on Natural Resource Management and Sustainable Agriculture (Girnad 2025) held in Hammamet from November 5 to 7, 2025. The event was jointly organized by the Regional Committee of Engineers of Zaghouan and the Higher School of Agronomy of Mograne.
In his speech, the President of the Council of the Order of Engineers, Mohsen Gharsi, emphasized the importance of engineers, particularly agronomists, in ensuring national food security through the optimization of production in various agricultural sectors and environmental protection. He also indicated that the Council of the Order of Engineers makes national food security its top priority by coordinating with all stakeholders in the field, including ministries and agronomy training institutes. This is because the basic training of Tunisian engineers enables them to play a crucial role in ensuring food security.
Finally, the President of the Council of the Order of Engineers invited participants to attend the Arab Congress of Agronomic Engineers, which will take place in Tunis on November 29 at a hotel in the city. The congress will discuss, among other topics, the role of Arab agronomic engineers in ensuring food security.
