Tunisian Association of SOS Children's Villages Announces Closure of Fundraising Campaign for Palestinian Children
The Tunisian Association of SOS Children's Villages has announced the closure of its fundraising campaign for SOS Children's Villages Palestine, under the slogan "Save the Children of Palestine". The campaign, which was authorized by the Tunisian Government Presidency, ran for three months from September 10 to December 9, 2025, according to a statement on the Association's Facebook page.
Campaign Results
The total amount collected during the campaign reached 2,612,000 Tunisian dinars (TND), thanks to the positive and generous interaction of 4,827 Tunisian donors from Tunisia and 37 countries around the world, including individuals and institutions. This humanitarian solidarity is a response to the suffering of Palestinian children who have been affected by the war, displacement, and famine for over two years without interruption.
Expression of Gratitude
The Palestinian Association has expressed its gratitude to the Tunisian Association and all Tunisians who contributed to the "Save the Children of Palestine" campaign, praising the Tunisian support for the children under their care. The Tunisian Association of SOS Children's Villages confirmed that the donations were collected through bank transfers, electronic payments by credit card on the Association's website (www.sosve.tn), and financial transfers to a dedicated postal account for the campaign.
Transfer of Funds
The entire amount will be transferred to SOS Children's Villages Palestine through the International Federation of SOS Children's Villages, which will direct the aid according to a precise protocol characterized by transparency and secure procedures. The Tunisian Association of SOS Children's Villages specified that this aid will be dedicated to supporting the thousands of children cared for by the Palestinian Association, which provides various services to families affected by the war, including food, shelter, medical, and psychological support.
Humanitarian Assistance
It is expected that this Tunisian assistance will contribute to alleviating the suffering and ongoing ordeal of the Palestinian people, despite the modesty of the collected funds compared to the magnitude of humanitarian needs, especially in the difficult conditions faced by Palestinian children and their families due to the harsh winter climate.
