Crackdown on Price Speculation: Tunisia Takes Action
In accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic, aimed at combating all forms of speculation, monopoly, and artificial price hikes of vegetables, fruits, and consumer products, units of the police and national guard conducted simultaneous control and awareness operations on all wholesale markets across the country at dawn on September 6, 2025. These interventions involved all parties involved in supply, price setting, sales, and distribution of products.
