Tunisian Capital to Host the 38th Edition of the COMAR Tunis-Carthage Marathon
The Tunisian capital is gearing up to host the 38th edition of the COMAR Tunis-Carthage Marathon, which will kick off on Sunday, November 30, 2025. Under the high patronage of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and organized in close partnership with the Tunisian Athletics Federation (FTA), the event promises to be a grand celebration of sports open to all.
A Comprehensive Range of Courses for All
To meet the expectations of all running enthusiasts, the 2025 edition will offer a complete range of courses. The Marathon (42.195 km) is designed for those seeking absolute performance. The Half-Marathon (21.1 km) offers an accessible challenge. The Course for All (5 km) is ideal for beginners and families. Finally, the Kids Marathon is specially designed for young athletes aged 7 to 14. The sports morning will conclude with an awards ceremony to crown the efforts of the participants.

The COMAR Marathon has a dual ambition: to strengthen its international attractiveness by attracting an increasingly large number of runners from the Maghreb, Europe, and beyond, and to promote sports practice as an essential lever for public health and social cohesion.

- Fixed medical antennas at the starting and finishing points To ensure impeccable timing, all runner bibs will be equipped with electronic chips.

The marathon aims to strengthen its international dimension and promote sports-health. This edition also reaffirms its environmental commitment through the "1 dinar collected = 1 tree planted" operation.
