CNOT supports Ahmed Jaouadi an encouragement grant for the swimming champion

Continuous Monitoring of High-Level Athletes Abroad by the Tunisian National Olympic Committee (CNOT)

Mehrez Boussayene met with world champion and swimmer Ahmed Jaouadi last night, as part of the CNOT's ongoing efforts to monitor high-level athletes residing abroad.

Currently in Tunisia for the end-of-year holidays with his family, Ahmed Jaouadi will return to the United States in early January 2026. He will continue his university studies and intensive training in preparation for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics and upcoming international events.

The working session focused on:

  • the living, studying, and training conditions available to the swimmer in the United States
  • the means to ensure the continuity of his promising career
  • strategies to optimize his performance and continue to make the national flag shine

Following this meeting, Mehrez Boussayene announced the allocation of a significant encouragement grant from the CNOT to Ahmed Jaouadi. He reiterated the Committee's unwavering support for him, as well as for all Tunisian champions engaged in international competitions.
