Chinese Delegation Wuhan Yanglu Reaffirms Investment Intentions in Tunisia

A delegation from the Chinese group Wuhan Yanglu, specializing in port services, international trade, and logistics, has reaffirmed its willingness to carry out investment projects in Tunisia that meet international standards, particularly in the field of rehabilitation and upgrading of public enterprises under supervision.

Meeting with the Minister of Trade and Export Development

This intention was expressed during a coordination meeting held on Saturday at the headquarters of the Ministry of Trade and Export Development, with Minister Samir Abid. The representatives of the group expressed their interest in several sectors that are expected to be the subject of future cooperation, aiming to create new investment opportunities and strategic partnerships in the medium term.

Cooperation and Improvement of Management Methods

According to a statement from the ministry, this cooperation is expected to contribute to the improvement of management and operating methods of the concerned structures, through the exchange of expertise and the adoption of the latest innovative technologies and solutions.

Clear Roadmap for Project Implementation

On his part, the Minister of Trade emphasized the need to develop a clear and operational roadmap to concretely engage in the implementation of the common projects envisioned between the Tunisian and Chinese parties. He stressed the importance of examining all proposals in order to build a solid and lasting partnership, based on mutual interest and facilitating access to African markets, with Tunisia being considered a strategic gateway to the continent.
