China Launches Three New Satellites into Space
China launched three new satellites into space yesterday, Wednesday, aboard a Long March-2C carrier rocket. The rocket was launched at 12:01 (Beijing time) from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China, placing the Shijian-30A, Shijian-30B, and Shijian-30C satellites into their planned orbits. These satellites will be primarily used for space environment exploration and verification of related technologies. This marks the 608th mission of the Long March series of carrier rockets.
