Central University, a Member of Honoris United Universities, Achieves New Milestone in Academic Excellence

Central University, a member of Honoris United Universities, the first pan-African private higher education network, has reached a new milestone in its pursuit of academic excellence. The School of Health and the Bachelor's program in Nursing Sciences have just obtained accreditation for a period of seven years, awarded by the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN), one of the reference organizations for accreditation in nursing care in North America.

Canada is recognized globally as a reference country in terms of health and well-being, where the nursing profession holds a central place and is highly valued. This recognition confers international credibility on our program and opens up new perspectives for our students.

In this context, a ceremony was organized to celebrate this accreditation in the presence of Ms. Houbeb Ajmi, General Manager of the Central University Group, Dr. Wafa Troudi, Director of the School of Health, Dr. Jean Daniel Jacob, CEO of CASN, as well as experts from the health world.

On this occasion, Dr. Jean Daniel Jacob, CEO of CASN, stated: "I would like to congratulate Central University for obtaining seven years of accreditation, especially in its first evaluation — it's excellent. This is an international accreditation that allows us to measure up to Canadian standards and norms. It's a commitment to excellence, with the goal of offering better care at the regional, national, and international levels."

By receiving this accreditation, Central University's Paramedical School becomes the first paramedical school in Africa to be accredited by CASN, thus consecrating its pioneering role in aligning Tunisian higher education with the most demanding international standards. This recognition illustrates the rigor of its academic framework, the quality of its management, and its commitment to continuous improvement, through interim reports integrating recommendations for evolution.
