Tunisian Theater Shines on the Arab Stage
The Tunisian theater has once again dazzled on the Arab stage with the brilliant consecration of the play "Othello... and after?" by director Hamadi Louhaibi, during the latest edition of the Jordan Theater Festival.
This ambitious creation, revisited with a contemporary and bold approach, has managed to seduce both the jury and the audience, winning three major awards.
The Tunisian troupe left the festival with a remarkable record:
- Best Text awarded to Boukthir Douma
- Best Actor awarded to Mouez Romdhani
- Best Actress won by Faten Chouaybi
These awards testify to the artistic maturity of the show and the mastery of its team, which has successfully reinterpreted Othello by infusing it with a new reading, marked by current events and human and social concerns of our time.
