Outrage in Tunisia: Suspect in Child Abuse Case Placed in Custody
The entire Tunisian society has been outraged by a recent incident, with everyone unanimously calling for justice and the immediate detention of the suspect. It appears that the justice system has finally decided to take action. The prosecutor's office near the Court of First Instance in Ariana has ordered the main suspect in the Ennasr kindergarten case to be placed in custody.
This news was confirmed by Syrine Mrabet, a member of the People's Representative Assembly. Mrabet confirmed the information about the detention of the main suspect and three other individuals in the same case through a post on her Facebook page.
It is worth recalling that a suspicion of sexual assault on a 3-year-old child in a renowned kindergarten in the Ennasr neighborhood weighs on a man who frequented the place. The child's mother filed a complaint when she noticed anxiety in her child, who uttered a few phrases that raised her suspicions. The little boy, who had difficulty walking, formulated a story that made his mother understand that someone had sexually assaulted him. According to rumors, the perpetrator is a photographer who collaborates with the kindergarten.
In addition to the main suspect, three other individuals have also been placed in custody for the purposes of the investigation. The investigation is ongoing, and this case will be closely followed.
