New Provisional Committee Hits the Ground Running
The new provisional committee is wasting no time. In the past few hours, they have made numerous appointments, signaling a significant overhaul of the club's leadership.
Key Appointments
From the previous management team, only Hatem Ayadi, the president of the boxing section, has retained his position. The new committee, led by Riadh Mokdad, appears determined to inject fresh blood into the various disciplines of the club.
- Hichem Essid, a former player, has been appointed as the technical director of the youth team.
- Nabil Antar, another former player, has been entrusted with the role of senior football team manager.
- Mohamed Fliss, a journalist and photographer, will head the information and communication commission.
- Aymen Baratli will take over as president of the basketball section.
- Hichem Mchirgui will lead the karate discipline.
- The technical staff has been reinforced with the addition of Bilel Ben Massoud, a former midfielder, as a new assistant coach.
Recruitment and Training
On the recruitment front, the new provisional committee has quickly enlisted the services of former Sfaxien player Hani Amamou, hoping to strengthen the defensive compartment.
Training Camp in Sousse
The team has been in a training camp in Sousse since yesterday and will remain there until December 28, according to senior team manager Nabil Antar. During this 12-day gathering, coach Chiheb Ellili has scheduled three friendly matches against yet-to-be-determined teams. This will give the technical staff ample time to reassess the team's level and allow new assistant coach Ben Massoud to get familiar with the group, alongside fellow assistant Fakhreddine Jaziri.
