Expected Scenario for the CAB Family: Samir Yaâcoub Sticks to His Decision
The Press — Initially postponed due to procedural and substantive issues, the elective general assembly was scheduled to take place last Monday to elect the new president of the CAB. However, due to a lack of candidates, the assembly's proceedings could not take place as usual. No list of candidates was submitted to the club's administration to succeed Samir Yaâcoub.
All those present were disappointed to see the club from the Capital of the North enter a period of uncertainty that could last for days or even weeks. The outgoing president claims to be "tired" of the problems he encountered during his three and a half years at the helm of the CAB. "I feel like I've aged 20 years during my term. Now, I need to focus on my family, my parents, my work...", he explains, in essence, his refusal to renew his contract with the CAB.

Proud of having cleaned up the club's financial situation, he asserts that he will remain a loyal CAB supporter, always ready to lend a hand and provide material assistance whenever needed. Now, it is essential to fill this void quickly. He will help find a solution to the problem with the Committee of Wise Men.
Although Samir Yaâcoub has suffered morally from the attitude of some of his critics, whom he never mentions, he should have known that taking the reins of the club would not be a responsibility without obstacles.
