The Club Still Faces a Severe Financial Crisis

La Presse – When Samir Yaâcoub returned to the helm, many expected the club’s finances to finally improve, at least for the current season.

However, it has just become clear that the second tranche of debt—amounting to 900,000 dinars—has not been paid, even though the deadline was set for the end of February.

At the beginning of March, this amount has not been gathered according to a source close to the club.

If the club wants to avoid sanctions, it will likely have to pay both installments at once at the next deadline.

Let’s hope the officials can find a solution before then.

Basketball: CAB Falls in the Round of 16

High hopes were placed on the Round of 16 of the Tunisian Cup for the CAB family, but disappointment struck when the Bizerte basketball team was eliminated in this round by Ezzahra Sports, 54‑43.

The “Yellow and Black” will now turn their focus to a possible qualification for the Super Play‑off and fight for promotion – a crucial challenge.

The same urgency applies to the handball squad, which will face CS Hilalian at the Fatnassi Hall. A victory would keep hopes alive for a play‑off spot and a potential ascent.

JSK vs. CAB – Sunday Showdown

This weekend the Cabistes travel to the Aghlabid capital to meet JSK at the Hamda Lâaouani Stadium.

The match is a six‑point battle for both the visiting CAB and the host team.

Coach Chiheb Ellili must make the most of the current roster on this occasion.

Recently, CAB has strengthened its squad to better handle the challenges of away fixtures.
