The main causes of accidents for this year are:
- Distraction and inattention, accounting for 35.5% of accidents.
- Excessive speed, which has increased from 14% to 17% among the causes of accidents.
- Failure to yield, which has remained around 8%.
- Driving under the influence, which has increased from 1.7% to 2.05% in 2025.

- 3 accidents due to crossing railroad tracks.
- 10 accidents due to the negligence of a minor.
- 26 accidents resulting from driving at night without lighting.
- 26 accidents caused by a tire blowout.

- 29 accidents due to driving without a license.
- 51 accidents after driving in the wrong direction.
- 72 accidents due to prohibited overtaking.
