23rd Session of the International Advanced Courses (CSI) Concludes in Bucharest
The 23rd session of the International Advanced Courses (CSI) came to a close on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Romanian Gendarmerie Officers' Application School in Bucharest, in the presence of the Tunisian Ambassador to Romania, Sami Nagga. Thirteen officers from eleven countries participated in this training program, which took place from September 29 to November 20, 2025.
Tunisia was represented by two National Guard officers: Captain Mohamed Marouane Troudi and Captain Nada Gharbi. According to the General Directorate of the National Guard, the Tunisian participation stood out with Captain Mohamed Marouane Troudi ranking first with an average score of 9.37/10. This performance was hailed as a new example of the excellence of Tunisian cadres in international competitions and training programs.
The CSI program, held annually in French in Bucharest, brings together officers from the police, National Guard, and gendarmerie from several countries. It is jointly led by the Romanian gendarmerie and the French gendarmerie, in partnership with the International Organization of La Francophonie.
This training aims to strengthen the leadership capacities of participants through theoretical and practical courses and evaluations, while preparing them for United Nations peacekeeping missions and functions within international staff structures.
