Oil Prices Rise as Markets Monitor Middle East Situation
Crude oil prices increased on Friday, with markets closely following developments in the Middle East.
The price of Brent crude oil from the North Sea, for delivery in July, rose by 3.35%, to $109.26 per barrel.
Its American equivalent, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil, for delivery in June, advanced by 4.20%, to $105.42 per barrel.
