Tunis International Book Fair Celebrates Literary Excellence

Under the patronage of Tunisian Minister of Culture, Madame Amina Srarfi, the 40th edition of the Tunis International Book Fair (April 23 - May 3, 2026) honored literary and editorial excellence at its traditional award ceremony held at the Kram Exhibition Palace.

  1. Béchir Khraïef Literary Creation Award (Roman)
    • Amira Zreik, for her novel "Under the Amsterdam Bridge" (Tahta Jisr Amsterdam), Al-Amina Editions (2025).
  2. Ali Douagi Literary Creation Award (Short Story)
    • Hafidha Kara Bibane, for her collection "I, the Killer, and Our Shadows" (Ana wal-qatila wa dhilaluna), Arabesques Editions (2025).
  3. Fatma Haddad Philosophical Writings Award
    • Not awarded (Award withdrawn this year).
  4. Tahar Haddad Humanities and Literary Studies Award (Ex aequo)
    • Adel Kheder, for his work "Love and War" (Fi al-hubb wal-h[r]abb), Tunisian House of Books (2026).
