National Agricultural Bank (BNA) to Increase Financing for 2025-2026 Cereal Season

The National Agricultural Bank (BNA) has decided to increase the amount of its financing for the 2025-2026 cereal season. The financing will reach 140 million dinars for 4,700 farmers, compared to 120 million dinars for 4,000 farmers last season.

During the National Day for Evaluating the Cereal Season and Preparing for the Next Planting Season, the bank's director, Ahmed Ben Moulahem, announced that the BNA will continue to support the cereal sector at all stages, from planting to harvesting, due to its crucial importance for strengthening food security.

In the last season, the bank's financing included:

  • 97 million dinars in direct loans for 1,300 farmers
  • 23 million dinars through triangular financing mechanisms and credit agents for 2,700 farmers The financing for harvesting also reached 1,791 million dinars for cereal collectors and storage structures.

This increased financing demonstrates the BNA's commitment to supporting the agricultural sector and contributing to the country's food security. By providing financial support to farmers and collectors, the bank aims to promote the development of the cereal sector and ensure a stable food supply for the population.
