This operation is part of the national and regional strategy to combat parallel trade, smuggling, and speculation. The campaign was jointly conducted by the regional brigade and the local brigade of the municipal police of Menzel Bourguiba, in coordination with INSSPA teams. The focus was on the transportation conditions of meat and derivatives, particularly along the Tunis-Menzel Bourguiba axis and at the entrance to the city.

A total of approximately 1,110 kg of meat was inspected, with some of it found to be non-compliant with hygiene standards. Several reports were drawn up for non-compliance with health standards, related to the non-respect of the cold chain and irregular storage conditions.
