Sports Clubs in Ben Arous Governorate Face Significant Challenges
The sports clubs in the Ben Arous governorate are struggling with serious difficulties due to the management of the region's infrastructure, particularly the Radès and Borj Cédria complexes. Although the governorate is home to some of the country's largest sports complexes, these facilities do not primarily benefit the local clubs. The teams from Hammam-Lif, Mégrine, and Ben Arous are regularly deprived of their stadiums on weekends, forcing their matches to be scheduled on Mondays, during a busy work and school day. This situation has direct consequences on ticket sales, fan mobilization, and, more broadly, on the sports performance of the clubs, which are denied fair rest before the next championship matches. Local sports leaders and stakeholders are calling for an urgent revision of this organization to ensure fair conditions for all teams and to support the clubs that supervise thousands of young people in the region.
