Partial Traffic Diversion on Regional Road 22 near Ben Arous Hospital
As part of the expansion works of the southern entrance to the capital (lot n°3), the Ministry of Equipment and Housing announces the implementation of a partial traffic diversion on Regional Road 22, near the burns hospital in Ben Arous. This measure will be applied during the nights of Thursday, September 25, and Friday, September 26, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, to allow for the demolition of the right-hand side of the old bridge over the regional road, in the immediate vicinity of the hospital.
Temporary Itinerary for Motorists
Motorists traveling towards the southern suburbs and Hammamet will have to follow a temporary route. They will be redirected to the road leading to Tunis, which will be exceptionally arranged in a double sense for about 100 meters, before being able to return to their initial route towards the south.
Safety Precautions
The Ministry invites all road users to exercise increased vigilance, slow down when approaching the work zone, and strictly respect the temporary signage in place. These temporary arrangements are part of the ongoing structural work aimed at improving traffic flow and modernizing access to the capital, while ensuring the safety of users during nighttime technical interventions.
