Specialized Orthopedic Surgery Consultations Now Available in Ben Arous Region
The Regional Health Directorate of Ben Arous, in coordination with the Center for Traumatology and Severe Burns and the Basic Health Complex of Ben Arous, has begun offering specialized orthopedic surgery consultations in several intermediate health centers in the region.
Objective
The goal is to bring medical services closer to those in need and strengthen specialized services at the primary level of care. The Regional Director of Health of Ben Arous, Farhat Zahmoul, stated to the "TAP" agency on Tuesday that as part of the effort to bring specialized services closer to citizens, orthopedic surgery consultations have effectively begun in the intermediate centers of the Ben Arous governorate.
Launch and Schedule
The launch took place at the El Mohamedia intermediate center, followed by the Mornag intermediate center, and will continue next week at the Fouchana intermediate center. These consultations are provided by Dr. Hédi El Annabi, head of the orthopedic surgery department at the Trauma and Severe Burns Hospital, accompanied by several specialist doctors from this department, at a rate of one weekly session every Monday in one of these centers.
