Public Prosecutor's Office Orders Detention of Former Union Leader

The public prosecutor's office near the Ben Arous court has ordered the detention of Lassâad Yacoubi, former secretary general of the General Federation of Secondary Education, as part of a case involving speculation and commercial monopoly.

According to judicial sources, the case concerns the seizure of approximately 13 tons of potatoes stored in an illegal warehouse attributed to Yacoubi.
