Two Families Affected by Separate Asphyxiation Incidents in Béja
Two families were victims of separate asphyxiation incidents on Sunday evening in the governorate of Béja, following leaks of domestic gas. Civil protection units intervened to rescue them before transferring them to the Béja Regional Hospital.
First Incident in El Houari Neighborhood
In the first incident, which occurred in the El Houari neighborhood of Béja-Sud, a mother and her children were found in a state of asphyxiation in their home while they were taking a bath. They were treated on the spot and then transported to the hospital to receive the necessary care.
Second Incident in Hammam Sayala
A second case was recorded in Hammam Sayala, where a family of five also suffered from asphyxiation due to a domestic gas leak. The rescue services intervened quickly and transferred all family members to the regional hospital, according to information provided by Diwan FM's correspondent in the region.
