Body of Young Man Missing for Several Days Found on Cap Negro Beach
The body of a young man who had been missing for several days was found on Friday morning on the beach of Cap Negro, in the delegation of Nefza, in the governorate of Béja, bringing an end to intensive searches that had been underway since his disappearance. The young man had gone missing while on a fishing trip with his father, and is believed to have been swept away by the waves, prompting a large-scale search operation involving civil protection units and several volunteers from the region. Maritime and terrestrial search operations had been conducted along the coast over the past few days, but had initially yielded no results due to the weather conditions and the state of the sea. This morning, the sea washed the young man's body ashore on the morning of Friday, February 13, 2026. The competent authorities have taken charge of the body, and the usual legal procedures have been initiated.
