Search Operations Continue at Cap Negro
Search operations continued on Monday at Cap Negro in the Nefza delegation to find the young man who has been missing since last Thursday on this rocky beach. The search operations are being carried out jointly by the civil protection teams and the national guard units.
In addition to the intensive search operations launched in the early hours of the morning, a national guard helicopter began an aerial reconnaissance operation in the early afternoon, according to local sources.
Speaking on a private radio station on Monday morning, journalist Néji Khlouli explained that the young Hamza, in his twenties, had gone fishing with his father off the rocky beach of Cap Negro. The line of his fishing rod got caught in the rocks, which led him to dive to see what was happening, but he did not resurface from the water. The father, who was fishing a few meters away, contacted the National Guard as soon as he noticed his son's disappearance.
N. Khlouli also indicated that divers had found the young man's fishing rod on Sunday.
