Central Bank of Tunisia to Launch New Digital Platform for Foreign Trade
The Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia, Fethi Zouheir Nouri, announced that the institution is preparing to launch a new digital platform aimed at transforming the management of foreign trade-related titles. According to him, this initiative will constitute "a qualitative leap" to modernize foreign exchange operations.
During the closing of the 39th edition of the Business Days, Nouri specified that the Central Bank had recently launched an ambitious strategic program to modernize and digitize all its services, with a particular emphasis on foreign exchange operations.
In this context, the bank had already launched, in October 2025, a digital platform allowing for the submission and tracking of foreign exchange requests, thus facilitating transactions for businesses and foreign trade actors.
This initiative is part of the Central Bank's overall strategy to strengthen the efficiency and transparency of its services while supporting the development of international trade.
