Municipal Council of Bardo Holds Working Session on SPROLS Housing Projects in Ksar El Saïd
The headquarters of the Bardo municipality hosted a working session on Friday evening to examine the condition of the buildings owned by the Society for the Promotion of Social Housing (SPROLS) located in the Ksar El Saïd area.
During the meeting, the municipality announced on its Facebook page the creation of a technical commission that brings together all stakeholders. The commission’s mission is to:
- Identify shortcomings and irregularities in the buildings,
- Provide the necessary technical references, and
- Enable the municipality to issue the final completion certificates to SPROLS.
This step is essential for the company to finalize the transfer procedures for the apartments to their owners.
The session also highlighted the need to encourage residents to form volunteer syndicates. If residents do not organize themselves, professional syndicates will be established to facilitate building management.
The meeting was overseen by the Secretary‑General in charge of municipal management, and attended by:
- Municipal officials,
- Representatives of SPROLS,
- The Bardo delegation,
- A member of the local council for the Ksar El Saïd constituency,
- Representatives from the regional administrations of Equipment and Housing, Civil Protection, the Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company, the National Water Distribution Company, the National Sanitation Office, and the Bardo National Security District.
