Tunis Municipality and SNCFT Hold Meeting to Discuss Maintenance of Barcelona Square

A working session was held on Friday at the Tunis Municipality headquarters to examine the key axes of the convention concluded between the municipality and the Société nationale des chemins de fer tunisiens (SNCFT) regarding the maintenance of Barcelona Square.

According to a statement from the municipality's information services, the convention covers periodic maintenance of the square, cleanliness operations, landscaping and maintenance of green spaces, signaling, public lighting, and all interventions aimed at improving the urban aspect of this strategic square in the capital.

The meeting was chaired by Samah Daldoul, the municipal administration's management officer, in the presence of Chakib Reguig, president-director general of SNCFT, representatives of the company, and relevant municipal officials.

The participants defined the precise commitments of each party, in accordance with applicable legal and technical standards and procedures, with the aim of preserving this public service and ensuring its sustainability.

Following the meeting, a site visit was conducted at Barcelona Square to monitor the progress of maintenance work and upkeep operations.
