Ministry of Education Announces New Academic Year Details
The Ministry of Education has announced that public institutions will welcome over 2,325,000 students in the preparatory, primary, and secondary cycles starting Monday, September 15, 2025. The educational staff will consist of approximately 160,000 teachers.
Digitalization and New Services
The new academic year is marked by the generalization of online registration, the implementation of digital schedules, and interconnection with school and university transportation services. Boarding and half-board students will also benefit from digital solutions.
Modernized Infrastructure
The school network now comprises 6,164 institutions, including 15 new schools and colleges. Over 480 million dinars have been invested in constructing classrooms, renovating buildings, and installing surveillance cameras.
Reinforced Equipment
Nearly 30,000 computers, photocopiers, and over 85,000 school desks will be distributed, allowing for the modernization of more than 5,700 classes starting this academic year.
