Tunisia's Participation in Hamburg Aviation Forum Promotes National Aerospace Sector
Tunisia's participation in the Hamburg Aviation Forum has successfully promoted the national aerospace sector as a reliable investment destination and strategic platform covering the entire global value chain, according to the Tunisian Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA-Tunisia) on its Facebook page.
Event Overview
The conference, held from December 10 to 11 under the theme "The Next Era of Aviation: Resilient, Digital, Sustainable," is one of the most important in Europe, bringing together over 1,200 participants from the global aerospace value chain.
Networking Opportunities
FIPA-Tunisia in Germany took full advantage of the networking and B2B meeting opportunities offered by the event to strengthen Tunisia's strategic positioning on the international stage. This participation was based on close collaboration with the Tunisian Aerospace and Space Industries Group (GITAS), which was strongly represented at the forum.
Showcasing Tunisia's Aerospace Sector
The GITAS stand served as a central platform for high-level exchanges with key sector players. The Tunisian delegation highlighted the growing maturity of the sector, structured around engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance, as well as the advantages of the Tunisian industrial ecosystem. This ecosystem comprises over 80 companies strongly oriented towards export, generating more than 20,000 direct jobs. Particular emphasis was placed on the strategic advantage of human capital, nourished by a dynamic network of specialized engineering schools.
Launch of "Rencontres Aérospatiales Tunisie"
The forum was also an opportunity to launch the promotion of the upcoming "Rencontres Aérospatiales Tunisie," a B2B convention scheduled to take place in Tunis from July 7 to 9, 2026. To this end, FIPA-Tunisia and GITAS distributed invitations to forum participants.
Official Visit
The Tunisian participation was marked by an official visit from the Consul of Tunisia in Hamburg, who emphasized the vital role of this presence in promoting and continuously developing the national aerospace sector.
